Microsoft provide an in-built dictation function in each of the Office suite apps. It’s free and brilliantly accurate even for me, a hypo-energic mumbler (with a fabulous Brisbane accent).
We believe in-house lawyers should create less words by advising verbally more often and drafting less using perfectly tailored templates and SOPs but if you really need to write something then speaking is more efficient than a keyboard.
This free function also meets an Engo principle of maximising your current IT and not buying new stuff.
For those law firms still charging hourly rates, I don’t imagine you’ll be using it that often.
The days of the WP pools are gone but dictation is back, well… it should be.
